Enjoyed the Undertime

Yesterday, because of the coming of typhoon Chedeng at about 8:00 p.m., we were sent home early at 3:30 p.m. to prepare for it. I hurriedly went home, did some grocery first of some needed things such as candles, batteries and canned goods among others. When i get home, i told my mother-in-law that i will be sleeping first. And lo, i slept and woke up at 7:00 p.m. Gosh, i never felt so refreshed! But then, i was able to sleep already at 11:30 p.m . My husband was begging me to go to sleep because he's already sleepy and was joking me "good for you because you slept." I really enjoyed yesterday's undertime. Much more, when the typhoon didn't come as was broadcast in the radio and tv. Although, i am again so sleepy today, yawning and yawning because i woke up again early to prepare for work.

Wow.. How I wish our company does that also. I remember when there was a really strong typhoon and you can hear the glass windows thudding, well, they won't let us out. Nor let us go home early for the preparation. Baaaaad company! Selfish ones!

Yes, your company is bad! What if something happens to one of you when you go home and the typhoon hit you? They will be responsible for that, if that happens! Well, if that happens to us, i would surely file an undertime and go home before the typhoon casts its wrath.

I know, they're really bad. Wish we can go home easily. It will take us more than 1 hour just to get home. And with a strong typhoon, it would be scary.

Yeah, it's really nice to make the most of your spare time. I also sleep a lot when I had some time off because I badly needed sleep. I only sleep for about 5-6 hours a day because of the nature of our business. I also can't take a nap at the store, I have to keep awake to attend to my customers

Just like you i also get to sleep only at least 7 hours a day, on week days when i would usually get up early for the office. So whenever i have the time, i sleep. Thus, that undertime was really a welcomed one.

That was a good break after several days of working hard. We should be thankful to the faulty weather forecast again, if indeed it was faulty like what others claim, or maybe we should be thankful to God that he spared us of another possible calamity.

Maybe it was a faulty forecast, but i strongly believe God worked overtime to subdue the typhoon.

Nice that you got a break from work I wasn't aware that there was a broad-casted prediction of a typhoon yesterday, I just went about life as if nothing was happening

Actually, even if it was broadcast that we all go home to prepare for the typhoon, the weather was still nice. It just rained a little in late afternoon. But it wasn't even windy even until the next day. But at least, i was able to get my much wanted sleep.

Jeez, it was good that the predicted malady that's supposed to struck your area did not come to materialized. God it truly good! I pray fervently that God will continue to protect you and all our other countrymen against the disaster that typhoon can generate. Blessed day!
