International Dog Show canceled because of deadly poison

This weekend a very important International Dog Show was about to take place in San Marino. It was supposed to be one of the most important dog shows in Europe, as it counts as a qualification for Crufts. That's why many people come from all over the world. For the first time in its history, the show has been canceled because of dog poisoning. Many dogs have died because an unknown deadly liquid (supposed to be Strychnine) was sprayed over the whole area of the expo. Dogs who entered the area and then licked their paws died. The worst thing is that the organizers were aware of the danger, because cases of poisoning has been reported a month before. But they did nothing to cancel the show in advance, or to change the place for the show.
