Would you know what to do?

Imagine you're driving along, minding your own business. Its 3AM, you're alone on the highway going a little above the speed limit in your SUV with your dog in the back when suddenly this car comes out of nowhere really fast, stops right next to you and then pulls over in front of you and slows down to your speed leaving a nice comfortable space between you and him. You look in your mirror to make sure another car is not coming along at that crazy speed when you see flashing lights.....lots and lots of flashing lights coming very fast. So you signal that you'll pull over to the right side to get out of the cops' way and the car in front of you does the exact same thing. You stop on the side of the road making sure you're NOT in the way because cops can be very bad drivers when in pursuit. So you are now both stopped on the curb and then you notice the police cars come to a halt surrounding you and the other car. The cops all get out of their cars as if they wer sitting on springs and they all have their guns out pointing in your direction and the other car's direction. Would you know what to do so they dont fire and kill you? Im trying to think what Id do. My dog would be barking like crazy, the music is blasting in my SUV and Im thinking I probably need to lift my hands up .....but before I do that, I need to drop my e-cigarette so they dont think its a gun or a knife and shoot me right away. Then how would I get out of the car safely without having them think that I'll reach for a gun. The doors are locked....the windows are up. Would I dare reach down to unlock the doors? Shouldnt we be told what we need to do in such a situation so we dont have trigger happy cops shooting all over the place? In another discussion I talked about cops killing a man who was running off with a knife in his hand and shooting an innocent bystander in the head who was at 500 feet. This had me thinking about whats the best thing to do in such a situation to remain alive! So do you know what to do if you are stopped and the cops have their guns pointing at you?
