Beastly: A contemporary fairy tale?

I'm fond of watching classic Disney fairy tale movies and out of all my favorites are Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. Then a friend of mine told me to watch this movie entitled Beastly starring Alex Pettyfer (I am number 4) and Vanessa Hudgens. Just my luck I happened to watch that movie after she told me to, so I watch it. I didn't even know it was an adaptation of the classic Beauty and the Beast and just realize it towards the middle of the movie. I do say that Mary Kate Olsen did a pretty good job as a witch, not to mention a blind Neil Patrick Harris and I like the scenes in the greenhouse. It is indeed a contemporary fairy tale and they did a good job on the adaptation. Of all the contemporary fairy tale movies, this far is the best. Any contemporary fairy tale movies that you like?

I haven't seen Beastly yet but it looks really good. They seem to be remaking fairy tales a lot these days i.e. Beastly, Red Riding Hood, and they're also making Snow White. I like these types of movies because I enjoyed watching the cartoon versions as a kid and now that I'm older they're remaking them into movies with real people.
