I need some help & advice

I am currently still in high school. I will actually be a junior starting in august and as the time for me graduate gets closer i am beginning to think more about life after high school. Well, i would really love to move to NYC right out of high school. I have been to the city and i fell in love. I want to attend NYU and major in music industry business. I want to eventually become a music producer. i know all these things are going to be easier said than done but i am willing to do whatever it takes to get away from where i am now but i am currently not employed but i am willing to work hard. How much do you think it would take for me to at least afford a small apartment in Soho or something? This may sound unrealistic but it is my dream and when it comes down to my dreams, impossible is not an option...
