This is unfortunate, as Maura West is a good actress, but the viewers did not find her character appealing and though the writers gave her some good lines, it was uncertain were they were taking the character so her character did not work. Adam (Michael Muhney) has become the character you love to hate. You know he is just bad, he will do the most horrendous things and still consider himself a good man. I wonder what more they can throw at him. Nick (Joshua Morrow) has been around a while, but with Sharon hiding her identity and Phyllis who has moved thinks only of Lucy and Daniel he has little romance in his life but I doubt he will leave. Then the fact that Tucker has a child lost is bound to create drama and unless they make one to the secondary characters his son they need to hire a new actor and with budget cuts they cannot allow for too many actors.

It is weird that they found the age thing as one of the issues with the character. Children are constantly Soras'd and that implies that that their parents at times get to be very close in age to their children such as Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) who is just 14 years older then Michael Graziadei (Daniel). I do hope Kyle stays with Jack too, it would be fun having Jack have to juggle his schedule with a pre teen. Sooner or later Adam is going to pay, but when he leaves there will be no real villain left. On a side note I wonder how far they will let Billy fall this time, he nearly self destructed last time, and he seems to be heading in the same direction.

I read it was something about her age/apparence based on Diane being on the show something like 20 years ago and now...she appears to not have aged at all but have a son 10 years old. I hope they leave Kyle with Jack. That'd be a good cast member. Now that the newman kids are all grown. I am tired of Adam and his antics. Good grief...a little dab will do ya! His constant skeems and scams. And he never wins at any of them, Victor always does and that is boring too!

The miracles of televison. I remember once hearing that on the Cosby Show that the mother (Clare) and the oldest daughter (Sondra) are only 4 years apart in real life. I cannot imagine anyone having a baby at the age of 4.
I would love to see Jakc get full custody of Kyle. Kyle needs to be in a loving home and he will not get that with Diane. I hope they get rid of Diane.
I know that Billy will be leaving the show soon and am wondering what will happen with Vicky. I am hoping that Vicky will stay she has really improved as a character.

Not Nick I like him. Now they can fire Adam. I had already read they fired Diane. Guess she not as good playing Diane as she was on ATWT playing Carly.

I read is was something about her age/appearance. Diane was on the show something like 20 years ago, yet here this diane looks like she is only mid 20s or so and a 10 year old son.

Well, I guess they won't be filming any more naked heiress storyline for awhile. Maybe she will end up pregnant on the show with Daniel's baby. He doesn't want children and it will give Phyllis someone else's child to get custody of.
I don't want to see Nick leave, but Adam and Diane is not love loss to me.

Wasn't it the dumbest to give Phyliss custody? Only on a soap! I just don't understand it tho...no one works! Everyone is unemployed! Sharon was unemployed for months and lived so high on the hog! Nik hasn't worked in awhile...and just doesn't have any effect on him, Adam doesn't work, Jack is unemployed, Niki doesn't work, Jill works at Fenmores part time, but good grief...Daniel, Chloe, Lily, Sophia...no one works!!!!

I agree that they need to get rid of Adam. However, they need to keep Nick because of the kids (who else can raise Summer and Faith Phyliss is so unreliable). I thought that Abby is prego and now we also found out that Tucker knows that Abby ran him over so I have a feeling that if someone sees the video she will be incarserated.

Wow Abby pregnant. Guess I thought she was a little younger than that.
Diane is a smoking time bomb on the show. She grabs at doing anything for the highest buck.
While I know she loves her son she has a raw way of proving it when she is constantly found at a bar drinking and looking for the next bid on money.
Sharon needs a dose of grow up and accept responsibility too.
And I have always liked Phyllis's fiesty ways, but getting custody of Lucy the way she did using Daisy that was pretty low I thought.
She deffinately aided in tearing the hearts out of several people.
But thats what a soap is and sometimes even some of our family can relate to some of the soap ideas.
