My hometown is Honolulu, Hawai'i. I think its the best place in the world! The weather is always perfect, the beaches are beautiful, the people are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the list goes on and on. Also, there is a lot of cultural diversity. People from all over the world have come to Hawai'i to live, so we have grown accustomed to seeing people of all races and mixes. So I think that the people of Hawai'i tend to be more tolerant of other people and cultures. And life in general is a little slower paced than the other places that I have lived. People are more relaxed and happy living in paradise! Now I live in Kyoto, Japan. While I think that this is a wonderful place to visit, I don't think it's a very good place to live. People are very two-faced here, and the weather is horrible. The summers are extremely hot and humid, and winters are extremely cold. But, autumn and spring are absolutely beautiful, and there are so many things to see and do here, you could spend years here and still not see everything.
