In India we have march past of army, navy, air force with other civilians also followed by flag hoisting by the president of PM. Such celebrations are very much liked by the school teachers and children - they decorate the school building and participate in programs actively. good day.

I love Independence Day! Our town had fireworks on Saturday night, we went and saw more in a different town today (Sunday), and we may go see some tomorrow too! Yay! Our local ones were just okay, as we live in a small town. We still had fun! Enjoy your Fourth!

Yep, today everyone is going to be happily drinking, doing BBQ picnic and watching fireworks. I won't be able to any of them. My dad broke his hip and got a surgery. He is in hospital now. So we are busy in him. There will be no celebration in our house. Moreover, we live in a new city which is still unknown to us. So basically, this is going to be our worst 4th of July.
