Hello Lotters, The only thing I can't really buy now is a New CPU because I still have trouble choosing which kind am I planning to buy, either Old second hand (100$+) or the New one which cost at least 580$. It's vague to convince mom now because it's not that important yet since she still has that OLD CPU that was given to her. Unfortunately, I can't purchase them all because It's needed on other things. but am not sure if i should buy them this month. . but knowing i have more than 10$ now I feel tempted to do so. after buying the new parts am going to clean the ones am using now and give it to my mom instead since she doesn't last long in the computer compare to me...... I am planning to buy a keyboard (3$), mouse (2$), and an AVR that had to choosing on is 10$ and the other one is 5$. that's because I went there after paying our Phone/Internet Bill.. Not a referral Link. http://www.cdrking.com/?mod=products&type=view&sid=2600&main=26 To those who are in the Phils, do you think CDR-King is a good place to buy gadget stuff. Can you suggest something to me PC parts that are cheap price but still reliable for the next year or two? well, you don't have to answer right away. Have a nice day to every one.comment ya later

i remember one of my friends saying PC Gilmore is the best place for pc,laptop-related stuff. it's like the IT hub of Manila, so he says. he got a mouse for Php35 with free mouse pad! basically everything is there and are really cheaper.

I certainly agree with you. Gilmore is the PC stop for your PC and PC accessory needs. I recommend PC Express and PC Gilmore as the best shops. But, if you are in a budget, there are lots of stores there where you could find affordable, yet of good quality. Hello Nikramos, I have research on that site and the only place close for me to go is Mall of Asia. but it's not the parts that got me interested, but it's the package that they offer, am not sure if it's add the monitor. though it's not something i wanted to risk yet but that place is a good place to buy stuff. have a nice day and thank you very much.

Okay, the link you provided us with is of a CPU cooler :D Off-topic: CPU is an abbreviation of a Central Processing Unit or a processor, not a PC - Personal Computer. Besides laptops I see nothing there, so that's not the best site I've seen.

If you want our advice on which PC you should get, tell us what's it's gonna be used for mainly (gaming, 3d modelling etc.) and hopefully, you'll get something you need for a low price.

Hello SynDash, Oh, no i have no intention of using the computer for playing games, but never consider myself using this to play games but rather improve my time to use the internet. I don't use laptops but desktop, i prefer something of a good quality still and cheap price. have a nice day.

Hi LK! If I were you, don't trust CD-R King's quality. Their PC accessories products are not that recommendable. I would request you to find other shops. It is better to get something worth your money. hey lk, updating the old pc eh? good for you at least you'll have an easier time accessing sites and what not. although pc option is a good one, i would highly suggest that you take the time to canvass for the parts that you need. you have a number of options, you can check the computer shops in nearby malls or the usual haunts for computers and computer parts such as pc options. you can even go online and check out the prices. of course, you will be paying more if you buy it in the shops located in malls but consider other things such as your comfort and time. would you go out of your way to buy these parts in manila or quezon city to save a couple hundred pesos or even a couple of thousand pesos but then you'll have to endure the traffic? also look at the warranty of the parts. let's say you get the parts in manila but these end up being broke, you have to strut all the way back to manila to get these replaced. anyway, the decision is really up to you. keep us posted.

Hello Allen187, Just the keyboard and mouse, but my brother gave her a mouse already so I'd probably stick to the keyboard and AVR, which is the right choice for now. I haven't been in manila or any metropolis areas for a very long time now so if i go now, it's going to be pretty much far away. but thanks have a nice day.

Good luck with buying the computer parts. I gave up on the desktop because of all the upkeep like this required to keep it going. I now have a loptop which in total cost less than the price of the new CPU you are looking at. I've had it for going on 2 years and did not need anything for upkeep so far. Although I will need to purchase a new battery soon. Not long after I bought it my sister insisted that I download Sim2 on it so she would have something to do while I was at school. At the time I felt sorry for her so I agreed. What I didn't realize is that because you can't monitor the battery as long as you are playing the game she left my computer plugged in the entire time she was playing! Now I have to leave my computer plugged in all the time because the battery will not last longer than 5 minutes without being plugged in. But, my brother works with computers for a living so if I go through him I can get a good deal on a laptop battery. But, I still am hoping that I won't have to do this for awhile.

dear LK, I can suggest you go to PC house in Gilmore. You can asks bhaby about this. I tell you,we bought our pc parts in PC house 8 years ago and it's still working fine. The only parts that I upgraded is the memory and also need to change the HD due to virus that corrupted the files...and my processor and motherboard is still working good. I don't go for CD-R King when buying computer parts...maybe for blanck cd's and dvd's But,if you're planning to buy a laptop..better go to center/malls of brand that you want to buy have a great weekend my dear brother

Hello Sister Jaiho, Yes, I have been researching this site, and it has good prospect but unfortunately some prices are high and i don't see the picture of the product being shown with the price and i don't like buying stuff that i don't see in the internet. NOPE i have no intention of buying one, knowing that it's way way too much expensive for me.have a nice day.

Yes CDR-King boast of very low prices, but somebody told me that their products are not of good quality. And that it's only the CDs that are really good.Honestly I can't say anything about their products for I usually buy my computer needs at the nearest mall. I you are planning to buy a new computer, I would suggest that you buy the dual-core or the more advanced models for sooner or later our computers can't cope up with advanced technology that online sites are using.

hi LK, We talked about this the other night right? Or you forgot it Cd-R king is fine but with quality can't say they are the best but they can offer you the cheapest price when it comes to computer parts and accessories I know that you know what is the difference of new one and second hand one unless you have the capability to maintain the second hand one that will be fine . You can try S.O.S, PC Options,or in Quiapo they offer surplus parts (^^) hugs

Hello Bhabycatch, It's not for me but for my mom's PC, knowing that she really wants and anxious to play the games in her CPU. well, i was just intrigue because i rarely buy parts that are cheap. I haven't been to manila in a very very long while, probably i should look for others in some places than CD-R king. am just looking. have a nice day.

I wouldn't suggest buying in CD-R king as the quality of their products isn't really that great, I'm not saying all of their products though, there are some good quality products that they sell as well but if you really want to buy PC Peripherals and Accessories at a really low price with a guaratee of quality in the Philippines, I would suggest to buy in PC Hub, its in Gilmore and SM Fairview. Its where I buy my new computers or the stuff that I need for my computer. I just assembled a dual core, 2 gig memory, 500 GB hard disk and a 20" monitor for just 11 thousand pesos in PC hub.
