Job Fairs

I always receive notification of job fairs online. . . but I wonder if I would really land a job going to such invitations. I have this thinking because every time I apply for a job somewhere else, I am discriminated because of my age! I am in my mid 40's and as if they do not want to invest to someone with that age. . . How about you, do you participate in job fairs! ! !

Hello Irene. You are in your mid 40's ! That means you have many years to look forward to. And, companies know from your age that you are an experienced person. It's just a matter of finding the right company, and job fairs are good places for that. Good luck to you !

That is what I think too greenline! But it seems who they hire these days are younger looking and not actually the experience. The solution might be to really find the right company who really venture in qualifications and not the "face value"

hi, actually i did when i was fresh graduated at college,because i need a job during that time,but now that i already had work i never participate even at the web,like the jobstreet website.sometimes its more nice to seek job ion personal than online or job fairs.
