Did you ever made your own kite and flown it in childhood days?

Kites have been used in India since times immemorial. Kite flying strictly for pleasure has been in practice in Gujarat state for centuries. It is interesting to watch various types of kites. Do you encourage your children to fly a kite?

yes i used to made my own kites sometimes , when i am a child .Offcouse I do encourage children to fly kites.

You need not make a kite. You can buy a kite and fly it. The question is during your childhood days, did you fly kites? For your children now are you teaching them how to fly a kite?

Kite - its fun flying a kite..
well i did try and make a kite when I was young..but i can't say that it went off pity well..it won't just fly..so I decided that its better to purchase them from the market..

i 've nt made a kite of my own, bt i 'm vry fond of flying kites... i just love it.... during childhood also i used to fly kites & nw also i do it specially on 14 January

I never made one myself, but I remember 2 anyway that were childhood gifts. One got stuck in a tree, I set the next one I got on fire to see if it would melt or burn.
