You are all lucky, girls! In my case, powders don't dry my skin.
I have really oily skin and no matter how much I pat it with
powder, the oils just won't stop coming out. Even if I constantly
apply powder every hour, my nose and forehead still gets shiny.

hi grace!
yes face powder can dry our skin so try to put some lotion or facial cream on your face before putting a face powder

make it a habit to apply a moisturizer first before using face powder. if you have money to splurge on cosmetics, try using a mineral powder foundation. it is good for your skin compared to ordinary powders.

I use bare minerals, which is a mineral powder foundation. I find that as long as I apply my usual moisturizer on in the mornings and the delicateness of the minerals, I do not dry out. I love bare minerals and would highly recommend it as a foundation!

Personally I don't use face power, I prefer to you liquid foundations instead because I have noticed that when I use them my face tends to get a bit dry. I stopeed using them about a year ago, but if I have to use as my last resort I will, but I try to avoid them.

Powder will remain on face for a small duration of time... then we have to wash the face. So it is better to use in short duration occasions only.

Yes I have found that some face powders do cause drying of facial skin. There are some women who have oily skin and this can help them. What I do is use the bare minerals brand, especially in the summer as it does not clog the pores and helps seal instead of drying my facial skin.

It can be drying if you choose a water-based powder or cosmetics without using a moisturizer. There are cosmetics that are oil-based which is suited for dry skin and some are water-based and are suited for oily skin.
