Try to find out the content of the "energy drink" of your choice and surf the web for information about it. For all you know, the element that is supposed to give you "energy" may already be available in what you are already eating or in other cheaper foods. Or it may have short term or long term effects on your health and on creating dependency on that so-called "energy drink."
And the sugar content...
My daughter was once very fond of a certain bottled drink. So I told her: you know, you can get more of that element by chewing betel nut. Eventually she got the point and stopped drinking that "energy drink." At least she now saves money by not buying that drink.
Your feeling of well-being may just be because of the sugar lift. Or maybe just psychological. Red chillies may contain more endorphins and lift than from what you are drinking. Find out more from the web.
