Why government not ban the wine shops?

In our colony two men and one women are died due to this bad habit drink wine. Three men drink much more wine daily and used to beat their wife. One day two men died and after some days one woman died because her husband used to beat her daily. I think this is very bad and Govt should take action against the wine owner or closed the wine shop. Because I observe teenager are also addicted to such habit.
Share your view what you think really Is it not the mistake of Govt. or should know how it is harmful for life.

Hi fantabulus, your view about drinking is good,but ban is not a solution,but Govt. should strict the rules about age,quantity,and also they have to punish those persons who don't follow the rules.and last people should understand what is wrong and what is right for them.

It isn't fair to close up a person's business only because some people are misbehaving. The government should know that it is wrong. It is not the owner's fault why people are too immature to handle themselves. There must already be a law for abused wives. Why not impose that. These people are old enough to know what they are doing.
