Experts say that the unconscious mind does not recognize negative words. Stress therapist Joan Borysenko tells the story of an Australian who lost a leg to bone cancer and was give a few weeks to live. Twenty years later, this gentleman is enjoying life to the fullest. She explained that his coping mechanism focused on positive rather than negative thoughts; thinking, "I must live" instead of "I can't die". Just as prayers that needs to be phrased in a positive manner. The universe does not understand words not, can't, and don'. Prayers thoughts such as "Don't let me do badly on this exam," are interpreted as "Let me do badly on this exam."

Well ,it is very easy to say NO but very difficult to say YES in the toughest and even in the simplest situations of life.My husband is a scientist. When I come to him with lots of problems and complains he always says to me," don't complain against a problem -first sort out what are the positive ways to deal with that problem and tell what might be the solutions for that problem, use the resources you have in your hand".At first I would become so angry ,but now I am eventually realising that how true it is to move on life.

It is nice to hear your husband is a scientist. He was very right, and I have to agree and apply that also once I encounter something negative. It is good to know that.

Negativity in any form proves counterproductive. Achievers ‘ lexicon doesn’t contain NOs, NOTs and CANTs
