By looking at the news, we saw riot broke out in London, England and many people broke lots of things and burn many things as well. Unfortunately, even the well educated people and some have made good money were involving in such things such as broke in to the shopping mall and took away things they wanted.I wonder why people loves to do things like that and the police were having hard time to control the situation. It always happened during a soccer match or anything that can stir up their emotion. Sometimes, I just don't know why people loves to make trouble like this except they are just feel bore all the times in countries or cites where they can enjoy everything already. What do you think?

It's out right disgusting! And I hate how so many people are doing it... I also really don't like how people complain about the police methods and violating human rights by using violence against rioters. I think if you riot, it should count as surrendering your right to human rights.... some of the scenes are just horrifying, how normal people can be brought to such acts is atrocious.

I think this all stupid and some people have nothing better to do! Rioting, burning stuff and stealing is not the way to go! I feel sorry for the police because they have their hands full and are trying their best ot fix the problem! Rioting and all the rest doesn't get you anywhere! It is also not a good way to get attention! If these people want attention there are better way to do it! Sometimes peole just use their common sense!

I have read that the rioters were mainly young and unemployed kids on summer break. I assume they are frustrated by the way things are going. Big government cuts and no jobs. The worst part is they are common folk who can't do anything. I suppose the riots were an opportunity to release or express some of that frustration. You know when you get really angry and just want to hit something? The same thing went on here only on a massive scale. As for those who were well off and just looted, I suppose they were just crafty little opportunists who say a chance to get some designer freebies while having cruel fun along the way. What I found ironic is that the rioters just made the UK's economic situation much worse. There is millions USD in damage. Where on earth is the money going to come from to fix it all? Especially after the UK's government just got through scaling back in several places? The rioters may have been angry but what they did was inexcusable. Is not the West supposed to be civilized? Are not most of the nations here classified as modern, first world countries? I guess we still have some savage in us after all. It's quit shameful actually. My best wishes to the UK. I hope they recover from the riots and that there will be no more for a long time.

It wasn't only trouble making. Sometimes it looked like regular war as they burnt houses and businesses of other people. They killed 4 people. As I live in London near Croydon I could see from my window how this area is alight. It was scary feeling that riot can spread near my home. I worry because in next year London hosts Olympic Games and thousand of thousand people will be here to enjoy the sport. What If this had happened during Olympic Games? I think more victims, more injured people, more damages, panic. Just horrible. The truth is that police did not control the situation on the street. The criminals controlled it. People felt hopeless. I hope they will change the law now. They should.
