Ouch! My back really hurts! I have not rested two straight day from driving. Hardly had I arrived home when one niece, nephew, or daughter, would call me up and ask to be fetched or brought somewhere.
I do love driving, but when there is no respite from the roads, it could really be backbreaking!
Have you experienced driving two consecutive days with nary a rest? Sigh!

Well, I don't know traffic situation in Phillipines, but you definitely need to take care of yourself. Lots of times, people just have to drive for something, whether going to work or pleasing some people or running important errands. I would be curious about the public transportation there.

I love to drive and I have driven pretty much many a day. I do take breaks, get out, walk around, go to the bathroom, buy something (I don't like using the bathroom without getting something at the place.)
I have done 900 miles, round trip (1800 in all) in 3 days, and all by myself, since my mom wasn't driving right then.

i have tried half of the day driving a van. that's the most, about 4 to 5 hours straight and that was too tiring already. i usually take two hours of driving a motorcycle, two tiring too that you cannot even rest your back or stretch your legs.

It is impossible for me to drive for two days continuously.
If you have a problem of your back, then you should correct the way you sit when you are driving.
In the past, I drove 7 hours continuously for few days. I were exhausted until my eyes couldn't closed.
I did fall asleep when I were driving on the highway. Luckily, a truck horned me and woke me up before I knocked into the bushes. My car was minor damaged and a landmark at the roadside was knocked down by me.
After this lesson, I must ensure to have enough rest when I am driving.
I hope you are the same too.

I'm glad i don't drive because being a passenger, i can feel my back breaking with the constant sitting in one position, not able to move around. I can imagine it being much worst for the driver. Driving is not an easy task and people who don't drive always sees it as a luxury, relaxing drive. Wait till they have to drive all day long, only one will realise how difficult it is. I really pity truck drivers and taxi drivers too, especially bus drivers.

I never have driven 2 days straight! I have gottan backaches driving though! The worse backache I got was the day before Thanksgiving in 2008 when I drove to my sister's home. I should of gottan there is 4 or 5 hours. Thanks to getting lost I spend most of the 7 hours to get to my sisters in my car! I should of taken rest breaks because my back ached like crazy and did the two days I was there! Not a good thing!

I drive but I hate driving, I do not enjoy it as much than when I was a teenager or when I was in my twenties probably because of a mild congenital scoliosis condition, I always carry a bottle of Pau or any liniment when I travel long distance to rub on my back even when I'm not driving.
