From one of the TV shows , a feature was a Filipino dog whisperer, named Lester.
He tames dogs for a fee of PhP4,000.00, for 4 sessions, at 2 hours per session.
He was able to tame a german shepherd that is so angry with cats, and would tag on his master whenever they go walking. Now, he doesn’t even mind a cat in sight and is well behaved when walked by his master.
He also tamed the 4 tzi tsus of a lady owner , and was now able to walk them around the neighborhood without them barking at all times and not rawdy anymore. He was also able to stop them from gnawing things at home.
Amazing is what I can say to this man, who by taming dogs earns his living.

I've seen that show too and it's really entertaining how he could tame any dog that had been brought to him for help by their owners.I don't know that he is a Filipino, thanks for the info my friend. I thought that he is of Mexican descent.
Well Filipinos are talented really.I guess his works is too risky, imagine that pets that are being brought to him are sometimes frightening to handle even their owners are afraid to even get close to them.Cheers for Lester

Correct! One dog has even nearly bitten a tanod, requested by his master to intervene.
Good thing, Lester wasn't bitten too, but instead tamed him. I am amazed how he is able to do that!

I saw about the local version of the dog whisperer during a commercial break. I has the same format of the dog whisperer I follow on national geographic channel. It's amazing how the host of the show is able to transform dogs with all sorts of bad behavior to submission. The good thing about the show is that my eldest son whose afrain of dogs after he's bitten and after suffering all the anti rabies shots in his butt had gained interest on dogs again and is even bugging me to get him one.

That's nice for your son to finally overcome his fear of the dog. Maybe he was encouraged on how a man can tame a dog, as he have seen on TV. Perhaps, he tells himself, i can do it also.

The show is really interesting because you can actually see the transformation of the dog itself and in the process transforms the owner to be a pact leader. The show not only teaches the viewer on how to properly discipline the dog, it also shows that the behavior of the dog depends on how it is treated by its owner. In effect, the dog whisperer is actually training the owner himself.

Well, that's true . In the case of the lady owner of the four toy dogs, it was her attitude of pampering them, that made them insecure with one another. It's as if each one would like to be the favorite pet of the owner.

Yes, i only knew about it when i saw Jessica Soho's program. Even the foreign counterpart, i haven't seen it yet.
It's amazing how one can tame dogs. And to think that i am afraid of dogs, tha it might bite me.
