Who else thinks walmart is now getting more expensive?

Walmart used to be my favorite place to shop for clothes and things since it was so cheap. I like the juniors graphic tees because they're really cute they used to be 5 or 3 dollars, but when I went in april to look at the shirts and buy one they raised the price to 7.50 I was so mad, I'm not paying that much for a tshirt, But the only thing I saw they raised the prices on was the clothes, does anyone know why?

Prices went up because the cost of cotton went up and so did fuel. Every lil cost gets passed to the consumer even if we don't think it's fair.

I had not been to Walmart in a while and ended up shopping a couple times out in Arkansas, during my vacation as it is a very popular store there. You are right, as I was strolling through the clothing aisle I did notice that clothing especially the children's was so high in price. I wonder because of the fact that children are returning back to school that they decided they had to up the price as it is necessary to purchase them.
I also noticed that the pj's which usually were the cheapest at Walmarts were very high in price too. Hmmm part of the economical rise I take it. Sad because how it is that these stores think people can continue to shop anymore.
