Tonight on my way home I saw a police car. I wasn't speeding or breaking any laws. But usually when I see a police car I feel the urge to hurry up and get where I'm going. Or to just pull over and park somewhere until they are gone. Not that I would try to run from the police like people do on cops which is crazy. It's kind of funny to me. I often feel that I would be the unfortunate one to get pulled over, and get a ticket somehow to meet their quota for the month. Have you ever felt like rushing home or anywhere to avoid the police car.

What would happen was that my husband would slow down. He would not want to go faster then the police cars because well he would think that even if the speed limit was faster, that there was something going on and perhaps an accident ahead or something. You would not get a ticket unless you deserved it. And possibly if you do speed up then perhaps you would be going past the speed limit and then get a ticket. So maybe slow down instead.

Yeah I agree with you. I tend to think about all these things when I see a police car. It seems like a lot of things run through our minds when we see a police car. I do think it's better to slow down, that way we are in the clear in all areas.

I would not want a police car to chase after me. Can see no sense in speeding up, it would make the police suspicious.

Lol. Yes. Police have these intimidating aura that whenever they're around, there's probably something bad about to happen or happening already. They also have this authoritative approach which sometimes feels scary even when the police man look friendly.

I completely agree with you. Police can be intimidating. I think when they are in uniform they themselves even feel more authoritive and even perhaps superior. Sometimes it amazes me though to see police break some type of law while driving and yet their is no one to get them in trouble because they are the police. For example my husband and I saw a police run a red light ( mind you they didn't have sirens on or anything). It's crazy some of the things that they can get away with.
