Is there do - it - yourself project on the web I can look into?

My parents hire this handyman from time to time to repair the house roof, and to install a patio door, and I saw my parents spend a lot of money on it, while I was standing there not be able to do anything to help them save money. What a shame on me. I feel like I should get to know to do something. Not simply sit in front of a computer browsing the web, or doing mylotting all day long. I just if there any do - it - yourself projects online where I can look into to learn one or two things on crafting? I want to improve myself, and upgrade myself on different skills.

helping around the house is a very crucial role a member of the family can do. f you can't perform or do the task of repairs, why not just be content with whatever you can do to help ? :-) Repairs, needs a special 'eye' and skill for it. It also involves ART and imagination.
