Have you seen this ad by Nivea? I mean come on...what nut head dreamed this up and which nuts heads at Nivea thought it was even good enough to consider instead of just denying immediately?

My first thought was not of the Afro or those that wore it...Don't really matter if you "liked" the afro or not, in truth the "afro hair cut" has literally gone down in history as a "bookmark" of the 1970's era. Couldn't have had the 70's without it! Kind of like the Brady Bunch song....may not have been born then, but bet you know the song if you hear it or maybe you didn't like the series...but you knew the song and the names and several of the episodes. Same with anything, in this case the afro. You might not have liked it, but can't deny it was a turnkey of the decade.
Anyway...what I thought when I first saw the ad...which was on this news article, was...he is carrying a decapitated head...how gross is that! I don't care who made it it or what it is selling, I'd a turned the page if I'd seen that. Decapitated head means zombies, and murders and Hannibal Lechter and Chain Saw Mass..and other gross, horrible things. WHY IN THE WORLD DID NIVEA THINK A DECAPITATED HEAD WAS A GOOD SALES FEATURE!?!?!?!?!??!?!?! Has the world come to that already? I know you can hardly turn on the tv and see anything but crime, violence and gorey stuff...but come on...an ad for a hair product? Simply said..."how stupid is that!".
What do you do if you seen an offensive ad like this
