She's done it again.

Some people are just really inconsiderate, self centred human beings, and because of this they don’t have the mental capability to tell the truth! How much more would we respect and understand someone if they were just to phone us and say, look I’m really sorry, I forgot. Or I was at blah blah blah and I could held up! Or I was really silly and totally wrote the wrong time down! But instead they make up lies, to cover up what they’ve done, and I like to think it’s because they are to ashamed to admit they just didn’t bother remembering, or didn’t bother caring and went and did something else, so they feel the need to lie about it. Everyone will encounter these people throughout their entire lives, and it doesn’t matter how much we try to surround ourselves with people who love and adore and respect us, these types of people will always creep into our lives. I like your idea of getting your own back, by pretending you never got the message! But remember, these people are so self absorbed, they probably won’t even care that you waited for THEM, all they will care about is that YOU didn’t show up.. so be careful!

i think you just did what is best to someone like her. i know i am a good person when it comes to meeting people, i always come on time or ahead of time. and even i hate waiting, i still wait even for an hour for him to come.

I think those who just keep their promise are not trust worthy and they lose their creditability. There might be communication gap once or twice but not on each and every occasion. I think what she did was not appropriate and she should have felt sorry for her own mistake. Hope she would have learnt her lessons.

Sadly Toni, some people who constantly lie actually believe their own lies to be the truth. I am sure she might learn a lesson here but sadly some really go on into lying all the time. People who do constantly lie need a wake up call before they rethink of lying again.

I don't like at all when people lie or when they doesn't come on time to a date. I get anger and become impatient. At least they should call and explain why they won't arrive on time. But you must not permit that such things affects you and try to improve your patience. It's not a good idea to return evil for evil.

:-) Patient, friend. waiting is very boring, especially when to delay and buy time to meet. certainly very annoyed. hopefully you can be patient with your client.

I think this is going to be a good lesson to her because she seems to have made lying as part of her life.Her problem is that she thinks that her cooked up lies are very much convincing.

Haha. I think that is a good idea. If I were she I wouldn't blame you. I think it's good that she will learn something from her own lies so that she will not do it again.
