Honda recalls 70000 units of its sedan CITY ....the biggest recall ever.......

Honda motor corporation the one of the top five manufacturer of cars and motorcycles just recalled 70000 CITY cars because of its faulty power windows switch buttons...this is the third time honda is doing this in past 4 years. earlier honda also recalled some of its jazz and city cars because of the same problems. i want to know why this happens and how come they never come to know about these problems before they let the car out of the manufacturing plant, so that they can save tonnes of money that is spend in recalling the cars and invest in some profitable work.......

this is not the biggest recall. years ago, toyota recalled millions of cars which made its chief and head to go to the US and apologized for it. i aam agreeable to recalling products which are found defective to prevent accidents and hazardous effects. it is good that this is the company's initiative to recall its own products and not by governments. it shows that the company is admitting its faults and mistakes. i hope it will do better next time.

you are right my friend i also know about the recall of toyota cars from us and Europe but let me remind you that the amount of cars was not so much big as this honda recall, you can in fact also check the news by going back......

That's really a big loss for such a good company, much worst, their reputation will go down too.
In my experience, as I worked in a company who supplies molded rubber parts for automobiles, sometimes the fault is on us being the supplier of the parts because we were the first in line. If we overlooked defective parts and shipped to them then it's a claim for us. Its either we replace them or also pay damages if they were detected in the line of production.
The big question is why their quality control overlooked this kind of defect?
