Now we know that the Daytime President of ABC Brian Frons is responsible for the cancelation of All my Children. I don't understand why Susan Lucci waited this long to blast the President of Daytime TV. If more people had his name and were writing or blogging and complaining to him and what he was doing was wrong maybe AMC would have stayed on the network. I'm so upset that ABC is getting rid of so many shows both daytime and primetime that I have decided to boycott the channel for good. (mind you ABC was my all time favorite forever) I can't be bothered wasting my time getting hooked on shows and they then are pulled right from under our feet. Why waste our time. The cancelation of AMC, , One Life to Live,Brothers and Sisters and many others is going to be the beginning of the end for ABC, in my opinion. Who really will sit down to watch the chew, I know I won't be. That type of show should be on the food network not on ABC. Brian Frons does not have a clue to what he is doing and I hope the numbers will show him come November.

I agree with you about The Chew; the more promos I see for it, the less I like it not that it ever looked good. Unfortunately ABC is not the only network to cancel shows, especially prime time shows, that I really liked. NBC has done that quite a bit, too, and for many years. For example two 2010 shows not returning are The Event and The Cape; The Event in particular was one that I liked and, like they have done in the past, they left it hanging. I also like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles which disappeared a couple of years ago. CBS also does it; they canceled two soaps.

I guess I notice it more on ABC because that is the channel that I usually watched more of. I know that other channels do the same but it seems to me that ABC has done it more in the past 3 or 4 years, getting rid of Sexy Dirty Money, Eastwick, and Eli. Now they are coming up with Charlies Angels again and some type of Airplane show called Pan Am along with Playboy type show. I say "give me a break" its all been done before and they have not a bit of new ideas for shows. How many times are they going to do remakes of original shows?
