Energy drinks are called energy drinks because they are supposed to boost your energy right? But why on earth I get the vice versa? I took and gulp a glassful of "extra joss" and nothing happened. Instead, I feel so very sleepy at this moment....some energy drinks

well i didn't try to drink extra joss.. since my parents advises me not to drink energy drinks because it has side effects on us.. but they say it is just fine to drink it moderately..i suggest you to try other brands maybe extra joss has no effect on you but if you would try to drink other brand maybe there will be effects on you.. heheh

you made me laugh there but you have a point. Hmmm, maybe I'm not "hiyang" to extra joss....I'll try "cobra" next time

They do not work on me too. Yes, they affect you heartbeat. It beats faster so you cannot sleep.

If they don't work then why are they called energy drinks?

Hello whegcat! I have known that some energy drinks affect people differently. For instance I can drink an energy drink and not feel the boost in energy. While some drink them they do feel the boost and then suddenly get a drop in energy. Maybe this is what happened to you only a bit on the reverse.

Energy drink works better for some people than to other people. When i drinked it the first time i recognized more from it than i drink it now, but i still like the taste. But do not drink it to much because it is not very good for you. What i think is stupid about some energy drink when there isn't any sugar in, because why on earth you would drink energy drink without sugar. Than you get the feeling you are awake but you do not have energy... So it stil won't work good.

I am personally not a fan of any energy drink in the market. I tried once before and it has no effect with me. I don't know why. Better yet to relax and sleep so you can recharge your energy.

Energy Drinks have side effects. Someone told me the ingredients of energy drinks can affect your heartbeat and blood pressure.
