I was complimented by a stranger!!

Yes.. and its a great feeling too. Its 10 minutes walk for me everyday to the bus stop from my office. Like everyday I was lost in my own thoughts and was almost reaching my stop when a lady in her mid 30s stopped me on the street. I was a bit puzzled as for the first time I am seeing her. Before i could say anything to her, she was chattering; I was following you for the past 5 minutes and I liked the way you walk! my curiosity was high by now but she seemed to be her own. She continued, you walk so swiftly, taking longer steps, facing upwards and so on and on... I never thought someone would say this to me as if i am being complimented for something i have done something good. And it is so surprising what made her stop me and comment me... and how can anyone do so...
That makes me ask you friends here.. have you ever experienced similarly...

viju, good to hear about this, so you can impress the unknown strangers
.. That;s great. I never faced this kind of incidents in my life, some times my friends will praise me, if they need some thing from me

It is always nice to get a compliment and when it is from a stranger. It is nice because you know that it is sincere. Of course our family and friends will compliment us, but why would a stranger unless it was really true? I have had a few up lifting compliments from time to time from people that had nothing to gain and it did make me feel good about myself. I'm glad that you got that lift...it's good for you.

Thanks for the best response! I did realize that the post was a little old but I wanted to visit you and give you some input after your nice response to me. I never really worry about the age of the post anyway if I feel like I can add or help out. Take care.
