Hey guys, has anybody also watched last Saturday’s episode of Junior Master Chef? I was able to, but then, I arrived home from an outing with friends just when they are already judging the foods.
Wow, those 10 who won to join the 20 others to form the 30 official contestants to join the qualifying rounds really did good. Imagine , having these as their winning entries ; Bacon Wrapped Prawns in Aligue Pasta, Bangus Sisig with Onion Rings, Nilasing na Hipon, Kinunot na Pagi, Seafood Curry, Seafood Pasta with Seared Tuna, Salmon Fillet Wrapped Bacon, Sweet & Sour Shrimp and Sugpo Steak.
From their dishes alone, who would say that they were only kids! Gosh, I would like to taste them all myself , but I think I would like the Bacon Wrapped Prawns in Aligue Pasta to taste first.
What’s your say guys?

My favorites and must-try dishes from that episode were the: (1) Bacon-wrapped Prawns in Aligue Pasta, and (2) Salmon Fillet wrapped Bacon. Those kids just turned the cooking level up in notches. I can't help but feel proud for them and their accomplishments.

We both have the same liked dish in that episode actually.
I feel that those kids are even good cooks than me, when they did those recipes.

Same here! I personally only learned how to cook at age 20, when I lived in the States after my graduation. I had to learn, or else no one would cook for me. I didn't have a yaya. And yet, I only cooked ordinary home-cooked meals. But these kids? My goodness. Can you imagine how much better cooks they will be years down the line?

Yeah I was able to watch the whole episode last Saturday and all I can say is that all those kids are really amazing! Their recipes are really good and some are really complicated to cook that I think I can't cook! They were really gifted! And the way they present their foods are like those of professional chefs.
Those foods are really interesting that I also want to have a taste of it, yes that Bacon Wrapped Prawns in Aligue Pasta is really tempting! I wish they can share the recipes to their audience too.

Would you agree ckyera, that it's the most enticing food of them all?
I agree that those kids are amazing, even in the presentation of their foods!
Let's watch again the qualifying round next Saturday and for sure, there will be more complicated ingredients.

I watched it and surprised as always that this little kids can cook a dish like that. I am 31 yrs. old but don't even know how to make a simple dessert plus the fact that I really hate cooking. Those kids are amazing, they are young and yet they love cooking, it is far more better than those teeners who only likes partying and clubbing and getting into relationship in such a very young age. I hope they will still interested in cooking 'till they grow up.

In order to be good at cooking, you should really have the passion for it.
These kids have them and until they grow up, they will have it and be good chefs of the future.

The kid that took the risk with the Kinunot na Pagi showed some guts in not staying too safe when he makes his meals. I know pagi isn't the easiest thing to prepare and that says alot. As far as what I would eat of them I gotta agree with the Bacon wrapped prawns in Aligue Pasta. I also liked the look of the seafood curry so that would be a go for sure too.

I wasn't able to see the kid who cooked the Kinunot na Pagi. Yes, pagi by itself is difficult to clean , but i guess he did it himself. It's also a favorite dish of mine actually.
