Two of my grandsons who have indoor climbing went rock climbing for the first time today, the instructor was really good. They both found it different and enjoyable, but still still find it a little difficult to abseil. I still don't understand why people like the sport. Do you climbers think it's because of the challenge.

I really don't know what's there in rock climbing but it has always fascinated me too. i have always wanted to try rock climbing but i don't know where we have rock climbings in our area. that and bungee jumping! we were supposed to go bungee jumping this summer but the weather was just so wicked so we cancelled. now i guess it'll have to wait for next year

If you do a web search KOTR from here you will get loads of information on climbing in Korea, apparently it is cheap. Hope this was of some help.

Unfortunately for grandpa, he can't go along with his grandson for rock climbing. lol! I assume those youngsters found rock climbing extremely challenging and like to conquer the power of nature with their inexhaustible youth energy they possess. Yes, the more difficult the sport is, the more excitement youngsters can feel from it.

How true, trouble is the more difficult the more dangerous.
