No, I don't think it is right for any mother or father to 'abandon' their child. However, I do believe in adoption or abortion if a young girl is raped and is not able or ready to take on the irresponsibility of a child.

NO; it is not alright to abandon your own flesh and blood even though he/she is a result of mistake, the child need the natural mother and father to live and grow into a whole person. It is the responsibility of the young mother to take care of the child even it means go out and work her sorry a*s to support her baby or get child support from the baby father. It is already bad to make a mistake for bringing a baby into this world she doesn't want, it will become a double mistake if the baby is abandon and leave to luck or mercy of someone finding her/him in dumpster.

In my opinion, any women who abandon their children is not a good person and it's big mistake. If you do then you should be able to be responsible.
