hiya ifa!
yup, we can actually type in an app for the android phone OS, and it can even edit & create MSWord compatible documents. its called 'Documents To Go' for Android (http://gizmodo.com/5195958/documents-to-go-for-android-released-to-edit-microsoft-office-docs). but it does come with a price of $20.

huh? Mario is here?
there goes the neighborhood..
haahaa...
hmmm....now about your discussion. yup, it is a bit pricey. but then most of those apps usually are. in my opinion (and this is what i do for myself), i just get a document viewer that is compatible to read MSWord documents, so that i can preview on my mobile device any documents that are emailed to me. if i am to edit or create new MSWord documents, then i'll just turn on my laptop and start typing away.. the laptop makes it much more easier to type & format the document, which is something that would always be a shortfall with those mobile applications..
