i love my jeans, I have a lot of jeans, blue, black, grey & light blue. I got a lot & i love all of them and I need them, I use them practically everyday and every month. But there are consequences it hard to do laundry on them because they fade easily with hard laundry and it is bad enough that they fade, sometimes they fade unequally and the pants look like unusable so i advise no washing machine and maybe you can wait until the pants really stinks until you do laundry and maybe try hand-washing instead okay so for our beloved pants we can try harder... Have you???

I love my jeans too! I have so many pairs and when they get dirty I just chuck them in the washing machine. I have a really nice pair of jeans, ocean blue and I recently just bought it. It was a little big so I decided to put it in the washing machine just to shrink it a little and guess what happened! The beautiful ocean blue color all faded! And the blue went all over the white clothing like my Dad's white socks! My jeans are now rusty gray now, not ocean blue anymore but I don't mind it's new color. From now on, I'm hand washing my jeans.

I machine wash and they fade and the seems tend to rip easier... I think I should start to hand wash to try and save them because I can't constantly buy new ones.

Yes I no longer machine wash my jeans. I noticed that they were fading and so When I bought new ones I started hand washing them. It definitely does not fade as much and I do not wash them often.
