The lady said she could travel in June or July only

The lady has two children at primary school and they only allow a vacation in June or July. I told her at that time of year Australia would have winter. So I think the school should understand countries have a climate different from ours. I like the shoulder season so the flights are less expensive and there are not many crowds of people in the destinations. I love it when I can visit a hot country in my home country's winter. When I visited Western Australia I didn't see the English summer. What do you think?

I think that a lot of schools say things like that these days because they don't like the fact that students choose to take time away from their studies to go on holiday. However, there are some times where it cannot be avoided and your situations sounds like one of those. When I went on holiday during term time, I told the school that I had a family wedding that I had to go to, because they cannot stop you from going to something which can't be changed. I caught up with all of the work that I missed, so I didn't fall behind at all.

Usually everything will be much expensive and it is the travel season in the summer vacation since the children don't have to go to school. And therefore it is the time for their family to have a travel together. I also have this situation. I can't let my son travel in his study time. Here you can have a day off if you feel sick. If the teachers know that you don't go to school because of travel. They will go crazy and blame you. So, I dare not to bring our child to have a travel except for the summer vacation.
