the bargain dress

I love a bargain!!
There is a dress I wanted for ages, by my favourite clothing make Motel.. and the dress, everytime I go to buy it is like £30/£40 .. which I don’t mind paying for something I love, except it is really cheap flimsy stretchy fabric!! .. and it’s the design I love, not the quality! And if it were a great quality dress, well then I would spend that money on it, but it isn’t.
However – quality set aside – I still want it, but don’t want to part what that money for it.
I’ve been hunting ebay for it for about 4 months now, and everytime I get close to getting it, I always get outbid, and it really annoys me!!
Well not anymore!
Because I won it! And I got it for £5 including postage and packaging.. and the girl has only worn it once but it was too small for her, the labels are still in the pockets and everything!!
Ohhh I do love a bargain!!
What do you think about this??

all the girls envy me already ;) haha!! but yes it'll be being kept for a night out next week!! no haven't recieved it yet, thats not me in that picture thats the ebay picture haha!!

My congratulations. You won this time and soon you will have your dress. Can you imagine that I did not wear any dress since almost 4 years now. I think I lost this need to look pretty or even different. But I like to watch dresses. Sometimes when I have time ( not very often) I brows amazon page to look for something nice. Just only look.

I never used to like dressed either. I also loved trousers and a nice vest top or shirt.. but these days, since I bought really cool military army boots, I like wearing really pretty floral dresses because of the cool contrast against my army boots! .. you should treat yourself to a nice dress or two and make that wonderful partner of yours take you out to dinner :)

We facing financial problems so no dresses at the moment. The next dress I will buy when I have to go to court to face my partner's ex employer who did not pay his salary and thanks to him he have such problems. I'm wondering what kind of dress would be good to grill someone in the court.

I do love a bargain too and that is a really good one you got! I recently bought a Monsoon dress that I was nearly going to buy a while back as a huge treat and then because it was expensive I left it and then a few days back it was put down to half price in the sale so I decided to go for it and buy it. I am so glad I did as I know otherwise I would have regretted it. I am hoping to be able to wear it for my friends wedding so I think it overall has been a good buy!

I don't go for any kind of bargaining in shops here, they attach a price tag many times higher than the actual price, once i was cheated, the sellers gave me a 30% discount, but the cost was much less; it is best to buy from standard shops that never bargain, the price is fixed..

I think you're really good at shopping and yeah you got that dress for a great price.
I love bargains as well but i don't have the patience for bidding in ebay. Who doesn't like bargains anyway.
Congratulations on that one and i hope i get to see you wear that dress.

Congratulations to you then! I'm more of a bag and gadget fanatic but I definitely know how you feel, especially when losing on bids. It's just so frustrating! Enjoy the dress :D

oh you like bags? i have a really awesome bag for sale on ebay at the minute!
it's a liz claiborne bag that my aunt bought in america for $200. it's zebra print, but in leopard print colours.. brand new, with the tags including proof of the price and has all the plastic etc on it.. and i'm selling it for only £12.99 :) :)
