It was only a matter of time. Before I have stated it's the top 10%-whether it's 10% or 1% . The wealthy Americans are trying to take everything away from the middle and lower class Americans so that they can keep more for themselves. Recently, Congress wanted to reduce the budget for PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION by 33%!! They don't want to provide public transportation for the workers who actually pay the taxes! (They made sure that their taxpayer supplied chauffeured limo's weren't effected by the cuts before they supported it thought).
Get this, The Tea Party wants Pinellas County, Florida (from the front pages of Wednesday, Thursday & Friday's 10/5/67 St. Petersburg [Florida]Times) County Commissioners to stop putting fluoride in the water. Fluorided water helps to protect peoples teeth. The rich don't care about other Americans. But their is no benefits fot the wealthy by doing this, so the Tea Party is against it.
Why doesn't someone tell Rep. Michele Bachmann that fluroided water will help "cure" homosexuality, then she would be in favor of allowing water fluoridation to continue. Maybe she would also find a way for her husband's clinic to steal even more Medicaid/Medicare money from the government somehow.
The average American is getting sick tired of the wealthiest 1% of Americans trying to take more and more away from the middle and lower wage earners but refuse to make any sacrifices themselves. That is why Occupy Wall Street is spreading to cities across the country. ATTENTION, YOU ELITIST, GREEDY SOB's--you haven't heard the last from us.

Personally it does not make any sense to me why they continue to take away from programs that are supposed to be set out to help the American people instead of helping making sure that they are staying open. I see all the time so many things being denied and then these people always being the ones to call us regular folk out there lazy, etc.
They continue to raise the taxes, take away our jobs, our transportation, etc. while raising prices to where it is almost impossible to even try to survive. Schools suffer, people's health suffers and many have to find alternative routes to be able to get around. Personally it is time there was a better solution for this for sure.

The rich don't care, because they are rich! The only thing they want to do is get richer. They want to government to give money to them and ONLY THEM! They don't give a flying f*ck about anyone but themselves. The rest of America is finally starting to notice and act. That is why the OWS (Occupy Wall Street)movement is making the headlines. The 99% of Americans are getting sick and tired of the rich getting richer and taking more and more away from the rest of us. Think about how many members of Congress are million or billionaires! Yet they don't offer to take a wage freeze or cut. They would rather take away from our seniors and the disabled, from children, from the schools, from our paychecks!

It sounds to me that it's not necessarily the wealthiest Americans who are trying to take more away from the rest of us, but rather the government. Maybe it's our government who wants to make the masses dependent on them so they can control our every move. Why would the wealthy want to prevent us from gaining wealth? Our gaining wealth won't hurt them. However, if our government can make us dependent on them, they can make us jump through hoops for a crust of bread.
It's not a wealth issue but a control issue, and it's the government who is stirring up the lower classes against the rich.
