What is happiness?

Happiness is a combination of love and trust. It depends on how you perceived the word, but you will say that happiness when you fulfilled something on your life. A joy without regrets.

It's all in interpretation isn't it. Reading that quote myself, I felt the author was impying that the act of making somebody else happy engenders a feeling of happiness in one self. Whilst I'd agree it's easier to make other people happy when you yourself are happy, I feel the sub context of the authors message is slightly different.

Happiness is evasive and it is only those who know what to make of what they have rather than lament over what they don't have will get it. I belong to that category. I am forever in the attitude of gratitude.
