Here In our province, the city government would always have an Oktoberfest put up o celebrate October – said to be the months of drinking beer . Stalls will be put up by enterprising people in an spacious place, to accommodate a stage for the band, stalls of different foods and beers, complete with tables and chairs. Men & women alike of all ages would flock to them eating and drinking beer while listening to the bands. Usually this goes on until about 2:00 am for the whole October. I don’t actually go to them because i choose to be just home relaxing , but I feel happy seeing the merriment passing by them at night as I go home. My husband would also sometimes smell of beer when he goes home. . But I don’t mind, because he says they just took a glass or two of beer and listened to those bands playing. It’s Oktoberfest, so I let my husband join in once in a while after their office hours. Guys, share your experience.
