From local newspaper, such scam won't be new to most people, but it still work. Most of those con artist take on target on elderly person, especially person with greed. An old lady, around 87 years old was about to get her car on a parking lot. A black lady approach her, and show her a bag full of money, and wants to split with her half and half. But she needs that old lady to down pay on $4000. The old lady agree with it, and drive by a bank, withdrew $2000, that is all she can get from her bank, and she also took out a diamond ring which might worth another $2000. That black lady took the money and diamond, and promise her to come back since she has to pawn that ring, now she never return. So, this story might tell us, never been a greedy person. And watch your elderly back in your family, they are the easy target.

Sadly the elderly are the easiest targets for scam artists. This most certainly would not be the first time something like that would happen. Nor will this be the last time that something like this would happen. Scam artists would not be such if they did not prey upon those who would easily fall for their little schemes and their little scams. Obviously some of these scams seem so obvious that it isn't even funny, but to the elderly people, not so much so. It really is stomach turning to think about the lengths people go to scam others. Not all that surprising really when you think about it but it is rather disgusting to say the very least. People like this, I don't know, it just really does in fact sicken me like you would not believe. Yet it is all too common. Scam artists will always be around to say the very least and sadly something like this will be occurring again and again.

Anyone who goes after the elderly is a scumbag, you don't take advantage of someone just becau8se they're elderly.

It's really ashame what is happening with all the scams on the elderly these days. The sad thing is that they fall into those scams so easily. We really need to educate the elderly people in our lives and make them aware of all the different scams out there that are targeting their age groups.

I feel so bad for the elderly when it comes to these things. A lot of them should watch the television shows about fraud on the, "Retirement Living" channel. They inform a lot of older people on current scams and how to keep themselves safe. Taking advantage of an elderly person is just as bad as taking advantage of a child. They're weak prey...And however preys on them is weak themselves. My ex fiance's grandmother once went to a kiosk at the mall to get a ring cleaned that her husband gave her from overseas in Germany. They switched out the emerald and replaced it with a fake one. Some people are just obnoxiously heartless.
