How do you spend your Diwali???

Hi Indian friends in mylot. I am here to ask that how did you spend your Diwali yesterday. I spend all my day with my husband itself. We started our day with Rangoli,and prayed to god. I did some special traditional foods and had them. Then we went to temple and took some rest at home. Then in the evening we went to movie and came back by finishing our dinner outside. We thought not to play with crackers to help our environment. So how do you did your Diwali???

Hello Anusha,
I started my day with decorating house (I did in the morning as I didn’t get time earlier). My sons helped me for decorating the house. In the evening we lighten lots of diyas around the house and did prayers altogether. In the day time there was visitors too and got gifts from them. It was a lovely day with full of diyas around home.
