Has an online friend made a deep impact on you or has been of great help?

Hello. We make a number of friends online. Other than dating friends and those who may advance into developing into love are there are experiences where an online friend made a deep & touching impact by helping you in some memorable way?
I made friends online while surfing blogs and our interaction led to her not offering to help online improve my blog but also move it from Blogger, set it up for me and guide me for a long time. I am always grateful for this selfless help.
Do you have any similar experience?

when i started my blog, i have met a lot of these individuals who go to lengths of helping or giving suggestions to improve it.
in answer to the question, yes, there are online friends that had made an impact on me. not only one but many.
