Anyone succeeded in graphic design projects to make good online income here?

There are multiple projects of graphic designing like logo designing, picture editing, photo touch up, template designing etc.But there is heavy competition among bidders here as it is very very difficult to get these projects to earn good income.But we also see many of them get through these projects quite easily and earn good online income.Some of these graphic designing projects are little complicated while others are bit easy which anyone can do i guess

Have you consider joining some microstock or print on demand sites? i've read that many designers make a lot of money joining these kind of sites. I'm considering to join them myself but i haven't got too many portofolio to upload...

There are multiple opportunities for graphic designers for sure as i am also searching through the net seriously.But there is also serious competition among graphic designers and its really difficult to get through some good projects and earn some good money here.But what is that you mentioned microstock sites? can you elaborate little more on these?

Microstock sites is the place where you put your illustrations for people to buy. It's different scheme compared to searching a design job, in these kind of sites you create illustrations based on your own ideas and if people need them they will buy it from microstock sites. I've read that people who have about 1000 portfolios can earn around $400 a month from just one site and if you join 5 sites you can earn more than $1000 a month from illustration only. Print on demand is similar concept with microstock, but the design is actually printed on real object such as t-shirt, mugs, mousepad etc..

It always depends on the design if that is the perspective of the company or individual that ask to make the design. It is not easy to make money there since lot of designers will be also eager to win the contest.
Things needed there is a big imagination about the certain theme and how to mix up things to come up with a good design and also some knowledge or expertise on photo editing / manipulation software or design softwares.

Some designs do need lot of creativity as graphic design itself is lot more attractive in all sense and one has to use to his ideas to get the best output here.But there are also some simple projects on graphic designs which even a common man can do with little knowledge on image editing software like Photoshop

Those kind of websites are very difficult to compete in. Its like a child with no experience, no rep trying to compete against industry experts who have the contacts, the resources and most importantly for those websites - feedback. They will always win the projects while you waste away your hard earned money on credits to submit bids. Thats why I created my own site over at http://www.beautifulbannerads.com so I promote it myself and then get people to come to me rather than me going them. And I can charge whatever prices I like.
