It is logical, and it is reasonable. Under such economic atmosphere, less help and less money would be received from our government; even the government itself can't help itself under the current circumstance. Many of those domestic violent victims without help, they can only return to their home abusers, and the result will be much more serious. In our community, there is a shelter specifically for domestic violent victims, the money they received from government won't be enough to house all the victims, and many more are applying for it. Without any consideration, some those victim applicants are denied, and the only way they can do just return to their abusers. According to national statistics, from year 2007 until now, the rate of victims get killed obviously rising. Such a sad story to tell.

I'm in Australian, so far as i know we dont get any money to help start a new if we've been victims of domestic violence. I've been there in that situation, and have started a new. I had the support of my parents, boss and others, when I walked away from it and have not looked back. But if people want to walk away and stay away, They will do it. It may be very hard to do especially when the government is not doing any good, so money is very tight but it's something they will have to live with for a while.
