What do you like about romance novels?

Since I was in high school, I have always liked reading romance novels. I learn things from them, as well(love related issues) even though I don't have much experience.

I love reading romantic novels. I love how the author describe the feelings so well, and you will also feel good reading it. Most books have very interesting and unique plot that is why I am addicted on reading Romance novels. And guys in the novels are mostly very hot, gentlemen, and perfect. Very opposite in the real world lol. You can only find a perfect guy in a novel, so I like reading novels better than finding one in real life.

yes, but having read too much of them... i find them redundant at times XP
Anyway, you're right! The guys in the books are far better than the ones in real life!

Haha yes, some Romance novels are kind of redundant, that is why what I do is I choose a specific author and read all her novels. That way, I can avoid other authors that has the same plot. I usually search in Amazon the best romance novel authors. Have you tried to read the novels of Linda Howard? She has more than sixty novels already. All are good and recommended.

Thank you, mariahh! Linda Howard? I'll try searching her works and download them! Hopefully, they are available on ebook. In amazon you have to pay right? I'm afraid I don't have the resources for that.
Really? I thought that reading from the same author gets boring overtime. But i respect your opinion. Maybe it's because the author you are following is really good!

Hi Aja,
I like romance novels because I like to imagine the romantic gestures, the misunderstandings, each smile, each twinkle, each ride, each date and each ending that will touch my heart and make me cry.
Though i don't read it as often as I used to when I was younger, I still missed all the imagination and vision from the books i read, not just romantic stories.
