Friends... Do you ever wonder why God created the world in the first place? Was this reason ever stated in the Bible?

I'm not sure that such a reason was ever stated in the Holy Bible. Maybe someone else would care to find it for us?
I believe this world was created as a valuable learning tool for us "spiritual beings having a human experience". It enables us as eternal souls to very quickly progress in our inner development towards merging back into this great ocean of love & mercy we know as God. Not only are we here to "find God", but to bless this world also with our inner & outer qualities. I'm not sure if you believe in reincarnation, but if you do, it would make this easier to explain & to understand.
In the very beginning, it is said, we were all one with God. We never had it so good in our heavenly bliss & never even knew what we had! To realize God, or the great many qualities of God & to express our creativity & for variety & "for fun"(!), we chose to separate ourselves a little or move a little further away from God (but not too far!). When we came to this world, we forgot all of this & our agreement with the most high. We chose everything - our mother, father, brother, sister, friends, etc, etc & were very eager to "take on" the life we now live with the very best of intentions. This was our "free will", within limitations, which God has honoured & always will.
This is my opinion & I hope it helps!
