Is Mitt Inevitable?

Mitt Romney keeps plodding along while others around him fall to the side. Is there ANYBODY who can challene him to the convention?

Nope, you're a few weeks behind. Romney is SO 3 weeks ago. The latest king is Gingrich.

Gosh, now the media is doing a lot of talking about Newt Gingrich, but I can't imagine even the farthest right Republicans being willing to nominate him with all his baggage. Of course, I've certainly been wrong before! Romney will probably win by default...it will be "de fault" of all the other candidates for being such goofballs...lol! In my view, Huntsman is the only decent one among them but he's far too sane and has much too much common sense to ever win with today's GOP. Annie

Gov. Mitt Romney is just sitting back enjoying the circus, as his fellow Republicans candidates destroy one another... How fitting, he doesn't have to sling mud the other candidates are doing it for him. ...

I think it's pretty much a given that he will be the R nominee. He's got a lot of backers and a lot of money behind him. Now whether he is electable is another question. It's still a while until a nominee is selected and a lot of water can flow under the bridge before then.
