I know so many cultures are different and everyone has a different idea of the holidays. What's yours? Do you have any special traditions? One of my special traditions is drinking egg nog while putting up the Christmas tree with my family.

I spend Christmas at one of my daughter´s house. The two of them decide each year where will it be nd there I go. I´m the one to get the pper wraps out of the floor and save for myself the best (I recycle them to give presents for next Christmas). I used to do a lot of things when Christmas was in my home, but now I´m Granma and the principal roles are taken.

I spend my holidays mostly with my friends roaming out the whole day and coming back to home, have some delicious food and sleep. I usually go to theaters or long drive on bike. Some times holidays feels so boring, better to continue college or do some part time job to keep myself busy and entertaining.

That works. Keeping yourself busy always makes time pass quickly! I want to relax and enjoy the holidays because after my schedule gets crazy again with school, the house, the kids and so much more!

During Christmas, we have this Family Dinner when the clock reaches 12 o'clock and then we open our presents together. We also look at fireworks from our window. On New Year, we used to jump when the the clock reaches 12 and then make noises to drive away evil spirits. We also have Family Dinner which has 13 fruits that are of circle shape for good luck, chocolates and other sweets for sweeter years, a noodle or pasta for longer life, ham, chicken, egg and a lot of foods for more blessings. Also, in the centerpiece of our table are flowers and 3 containers with water, sugar and rice. The best part is actually when my parents throws coins and me and my brother would try to catch as many as we can. ^_^

That seems like some really cool traditions! We have a family dinner on Christmas and Christmas eve we would open presents from aunts & uncles and Christmas Day was for presents from the parents & Santa.
