mylot deletion..

No! not what you think haha! I'm not going anywhere. I did however, have 888 emails. From Mylot. From my absence.
Everytime I got through a few emails, more and more would pile up. I had the best of intentions that I would keep all the discussions I had missed in my absence, in my email inbox, and would eventually, whether it be weeks, or months, get through them all! And reply to every single comment also.
Well I tried and failed. I simply don’t have the time, or the finger length, because as much as I type and type I never seem to make a dent.
So today, I deleted all but the last 2 weeks.
I feel like a let down to myself haha!
How you do feel about this?

I think there is no much problem if you decide to delete them. The only concern I would have is that, you might have missed to answer someone who would have been looking for an answer from you. I usually try to reply daily or after two days to make sure no pile up.

i know thats the only thing that i worried about, so i deleted all the started discussions from 2 weeks ago and back, and kept all the comments under my discussions :)

I think it is a preference, some will keep their messages and sooner or later will get around to them all, but when I lost my computer for 15 months, I deleted most and my friends understood.

yeah, i've got like just so many emails from like a month or so back, and i know i will never ever get around to commenting on every discussion, never. not with me creating my own discussions etc too!

Were you gone too? I was like gone here for too long i couldn't even remember the last post i've made and i haven't made a discussion at all. So definitely i wasn't the one clogging your mail at all.
I think you did just right and there's nothing wrong in deleting them, except that you might have missed a good discussion for the past few weeks that you were gone.

I have the same problem. I try to be as quick with responses as possible but I have to much on my head at the moment. 28th this month I have case in the Employment court against my partner ex employer and 29th of this months my mother will be operated. She got thyroid cancer. This month is like from hell. Plus my work and other problems. Well lets hope that next year will be much better.
