I really love the Sims 2 I bought many expansions spending $100+ I even used to play it 12+ hours a day on the weekends or holidays. I love the way you can create situations like the poor family, the rich family, the acedemic family, business family, camping family etc It's endless possiblities :)
I prefer to play the Sims 2 not being a character that I'm playing but a controller(is this the right word?) that helps steer the people/sims in the right direction when to go to work etc.
Nowadays, I don't play it as much because of school and I realised it took up a lot of time where I could be doing other things like reading, studying etc.
How are your experiences? Still love the game or grown out of it?
Anything else?

I love the Sims 2!! Can't wait to start playing again when I go back home. My favorite expansion is Sims 2 University by far. I will prefer Sims 2 over Sims 3 until Sims 3 comes out with this expansion!!

I know it takes my time up a lot. There are times where I am out of the mood to play and don't play for a long time. When I do play I get where I have trouble wanting to quit. I never feel like studying, as much as I try to force myself, I can't study. My mind wants to play the game or go online. I really don't have much of an exciting life and the game brings fun to my life. It also makes it where you can make a character and make her live it up. Its awesome, its fun,it makes life have an excitment to it, its good in ways. But its a time killer. Once you play, thats it, your done for. Its not like that SO much with Sims 3, I mean, I got addicted to it in the past. Sims 2 is addictive too. Esspecially when you get a new EP.
