He he he L.O.L. I am talking about my daughters cat again. He always looks in the Wal Mart bags for lettuce and he just has to have the leaf lettuce! He he he . Well I didn't get any but be day my daughther had made a salad and out it on the table and put him in the chair and he got up there like he was a real person and ready to eat and waiting for everyone else to sit down. He he he. Such nice manners! Now every time I go to the the store I get a pineapple and when I do I put it on the cabinet next to the fridge and thinking he never jumps up there but he was caught in the act for the third time!! He was trying to eat the pineapple!! he he he L.O.L. 
I think he thinks he is a rabbit!!

I learn on your post that there are cats that eating vegetables because our cat only eat meat and he don't eat the food that i serve to her if it has a mix vegetables. It is also good that your cat eating a vegetable because our cat are really choosy and hard to find some food that she will eat. Maybe your cat also really thinks that he is a rabbit because he it vegetables..

My friend has a dog that likes all veg as well as salad things, but i have never heard of a cat that likes the same kinds of things.I think that perhaps you may be a rare person, to have a health conscience cat.I think that it is sweet that it sits on a chair and waits for its food.

Yep, cats are often peculiar. I had a cat years ago that would beg me for raw green beans. I had bought some fresh beans at the grocery and was stringing and snapping one evening while watching tv. One of them dropped on the floor and she grabbed it up. From then on whenever I brought fresh green beans into the house, she'd be right there waiting for her share. When she'd had enough, she would play with the pieces tossing and chasing.
The cat I have now likes potato chips and Tostitos. Guess it's mainly the salt that she likes as most of her food has no salt.
