With such tours and friendly games, it's bound to benefit all parties involved. While it's a good learning experience for players who gets to play against them, revenues are definitely good for the football association as well as LA galaxy. What matters most to LA galaxy is their exposure to Asian countries, and in the hope of getting more sponsors that will increase their revenues once more. In recent years, European teams has done it, and now more are following suit, including Barcelona, Real madrid, who are trying to break into Asian markets.

I think this type of games are always for other purposes than footballing ones. I am sure that LA Galaxy received lots of money for this and they will benefit a lot from Beckham's popularity. I don't know at what level LA Galaxy or the Indonesian national team is, but I never like this type of games, as I know that behind of them is only marketing.

Well, I think this event would be greater if we able to won sea games gold medal. But we must forget about that..I have heard the ticket have been sold out, everyone's wants to see either quality game of international players like Beckham,Keane,Landon donovan or only to see the prince charming david beckham.. From indonesian soccer point of view, this will be interesting game for all players especially those young garuda, I actually want to watch them again rather than seeing BP or Firman Utina playing..Their time already passed by...
